The decor of AirCuts & Day Spa is inspired by the scenic and spectacular view of Moraine Lake.  Situated in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, Moraine Lake is located in Banff National Park, 8.7 miles outside the Village of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. Revered for its vibrant blue-green color, the scene, known as the "Twenty Dollar View," was featured on the back of the Canadian twenty dollars issued between 1969 and 1979.

Glacier-fed, its brilliant blue-green color is a result of light refracting off the rock flour (fine particles of rock) in the glacier run-off which flows into the lake. When it is full, it reflects a distinctive shade of blue. Visitors can enjoy several hiking paths around the lake ranging from accessible walks to more strenuous hikes.
